I. Eligibility Criteria
(1) Top talents
Experts and scholars with world-leading academic achievement and talents with international academic influence; have a good academic reputation and leadership; take a leading position in the respective research field in the world.
(2) Leading talents
Hold a doctorate degree, and have a formal teaching or research position in a well-known university, research institute or corporate R&D department at home and abroad; have solid professional knowledge of an academic discipline, high academic attainments, and forward-looking academic vision; have made iconic research achievements recognized by peers in one academic discipline or research field over the past five years; and demonstrate the leadership to assemble a teaching and research team. The applicant’s age is preferred to be under 50 years old.
(3) Outstanding young talents
Hold a doctorate degree and have a formal teaching or research position in a well-known university, research institution or corporate R&D department at home and abroad; have been standing out in one academic discipline or research field; and have obtained high academic achievements or research achievements recognized by peer experts. The applicant’s age is preferred to be under 40 years old.
(4) Excellent talents
Young scholars who hold a doctorate degree or have post-doctorate research experience, have outstanding research achievements, and have great development potential in related academic discipline or research field;
Hold senior professional or technical titles in first-class universities and research institutes at home and abroad; the preferred age for applicants with science and engineering background is under 40 years old, and the preferred age for applicants with humanities and social sciences background is under 45 years old;
Hold deputy senior professional or technical titles in well-known universities and research institutes at home and abroad. The applicant’s age is preferred to be under 35 years old;
Hold a doctorate degree or have post-doctorate research experience at well-known universities and research institutes at home and abroad. The applicant’s age is preferred to be under 35 years old.
II. Salary and Incentives
Based on the applicant’s academic achievements and development potential, our school provides top talents, leading talents and outstanding young talents with a pre-tax annual salary ranging from 500,000 to 1.2 million yuan, with the final remuneration plan being negotiable; in the meantime, incentives and benefits including research kick-off funds, house purchase subsidies and settling-in allowances, research platform development support, and researcher recruitment support are provided.
III. Recruitment Process
(1) The recruitment of faculty staff at our school is carried out all year round, and applications are accepted at any time.
(2) Colleges (departments) conduct pre-screening and interview according to the talent recruitment procedures;
(3) The university committee regularly reviews the candidates who have passed the pre-screening and interview;
(4) The colleges (departments) inform the candidates approved by the university committee to come to the school to go through the entry procedures.
