According to the latest statistics (for the period between 1 January 2005 and 31 August 2015) issued by ESI (Essential Science Indicators) on 12 November 2015, 1597 academic papers from the agricultural science of Jiangnan University entered the ESI database with a total citation of 13023 and 71st in the global ranking, entering top 1‰ of ESI Global Ranking of this discipline.
