The annual New Year Party for the international students at Jiangnan University was successfully held on 30 December 2015. Professor Xu Yan, Vice President of Jiangnan University, delivered an opening speech. Over 200 international students from 80-odd countries and faculty members from School of International Education, as well as leaders from the International Office and other related departments at Jiangnan University attended the Party.

After the speech of Vice President Xu Yan, School of International Education awarded medal and honor certificate of “Taihu Scholarship” and “President Scholarship” for the school year of 2014-2015 to 41 international students, encouraging them to make greater progress and achievements in the new year.

At the party, the international students gave well-prepared wonderful performances of song and dance with strong national characteristics, demonstrating the good spiritual appearance of the international students at Jiangnan University. The party was filled with a festive atmosphere of warmth and happiness. With everyone wishing each other good luck and happiness in the coming new year, the party looks like a big harmonious international family full of love and friendship.
