On September 13, the Fifth National Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions on Service Outsourcing completed in JU. And the network platform on service outsourcing talents was started sequently.
Opening up for the first time to China’s vocational colleges, the competitions attracted 449 teams which represented 233 China’s institutions of higher learning to take part in, such as Tsinghua University, Taiwan University, Wuxi Institute of Technology, etc. To innovate on the competition format, the teams were designed to compete in 3 different groups including the Business Proposition Group, the Free Proposition Group and Business Practice Group, with the final of each group being set the first, second and third prizes. The program of “Selected Books and Information Pushing System”, directed by Xu Yi coming from the School of Internet of Things of Jiangnan University (JU), achieved the first prize of the Business Proposition Group. And JU achieved the Organization Contribution Award. Ms. Huang Lixin, Member of Jiangsu Provincial Party Standing Committee and Wuxi municipal Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Wei Jianguo, Deputy Chairman and Secretary-general of China Centre for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), Mr. Zhang Daliang, Director of Higher Education Department of Ministry of Education, and Mr. Zhou Xiaopu, Vice Secretary of the Party committee of Jiangnan University respectively presented the prizes to the winners.
The National Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions on Service Outsourcing are co-hosted by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Wuxi and organized by Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Jiangnan university. So far it has been successfully held for the five times in JU.
In the afternoon of that day,a conversazione on College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship was held at JU’s Office Building with the attendance of Mr. Zhang Daliang, Mr. Wu Aihua, Director of Science and Technology, and Prof. Ji Zhicheng, Vice-president of JU. Representatives from dozens of institutions participated in the conversazione and eagerly put forward their points of views. As a conclusion speech, Mr. Zhang explicated the Innovation and Entrepreneurship based on its ten key elements and the tripartite-structure.
