2014 iF Concept Design Award and Red Dot Design Concept Award, both of which are renowned international industrial design contests, respectively held award ceremony in May and September in Germany. Expectedly, students from School of Design in JU obtained a total of 8 awards.
According to the latest 2014 ranking on colleges’ award-winning delivered by the Organizing Committees of the two prominent design awards, School of Design from JU is ranked globally 3rd(The Accumulative Ranking) in iF Concept Design Award and 10th(The Ranking of The Year) among colleges from Asian-Pacific Region in Red Dot Design Concept Award.
Since 2007, students from School of Design have won 50 Red Dot Design Concept Awards (7 of which are “best of best” Awards), 16 iF Concept Design Awards (2 of which are “Top 20” Awards), 1 iF Product Design Award and 2 IDEA Student Design Awards (1 of which is Gold Award).
