Recently,U.S. News & World Report(USNEWS) published 2015 Best Global Universities Rankings, which for the first time ranks colleges out of U.S. In the Subject Ranking for Agriculture Science, Jiangnan University is ranked the 48th in the world and the 5th nationwide.

The brand-new 2015 Best Global Colleges Rankings contains Top 500 colleges and each Best 100 in 21 subjects. In the ranking of Agriculture Science, 7 institutions of higher learning from China are on the list including China Agriculture University (4^th), Zhejiang University (23^rd), Nanjing Agriculture University (36^th), South China University of Technology (40^th), Jiangnan University (48^th), Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University (67^th) and Huazhong Agriculture University (97^th).
