Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the decision (JSK[2013] No.2) of Awarding The 6th Scientific Research Outstanding Achievements(Humanities and Social Science). From JU,The Modern Han Folk Costumes Complete Worksby Cui Rongrong andFrom Monism to Dualism--The Heritage Meridians of Modern Chinese Clothingby Zhang Jingqiong at the Shool of Textile & Clothing, won the third prize. It is the first time that JU took this palm.

The Awards, selected once every three years, marks so far the peak of research achievements in humanities and social science in China. Voted by the Committee, the awards were given to the 830 achievements, among which, 45 awarded the first prize, 250 the second prizes, 518 the third prizes and 17 the popularities award finally. The awards signifies JU breaking a new ground in the field of humanities and social science research, which will greatly erect a higher reputation, encouraging and guiding JU researchers to continue to make rigorous researches, innovative creations, casting more excellent achievements, and further promoting the prosperity and progress of philosophy and social science of JU.
