From April 1stto 2nd, the 6thChina Beijing International Food Safety Summit Forum was held in Beijing National Convention Center. In JU the subforum was undertaken independently to discuss “Food Safety Risk Control”. Wu Linhai, professor from the School of Business and chief expert of Jiangsu Food Safety Research Base, hosted the meeting and Zhou Jianzhong, Secretary from the School of Business, Xu Liqing, Drector of the Jiangsu Food Safety Research Base and other members took part in the event.
Professor Wu Linhai, in the session, deeply elaborated the dynamical, political and urgent jeopardy from the perspectives of food safety risk control, food safety public opinion evolution mechanism and agricultural product security risk dimension identification. In addition, he expounded the achievements in this field already casted by JU. The members convened fairly rated2012 China Food Safety Development Reportand2012 China Food Safety Network Public Opinion Development Report, and in the warm and harmonious air, they expected to further communication and make endeavor to control food safety risk.
China Beijing International Food Safety Summit Forum (CBISF), as a leading role in promoting food safety technology, is organized by Beijing Food Institute and Beijing Food Association and undertaken by Pacific International Exhibition Co., LTD. With the active participation and support of people from all walks of life, the CBISF has been successfully held for five consecutive terms. This year with its design more professional and size larger the forum becomes the top-leveled meeting in the food safety field, the spread of its influence and brand effect improving in China food industry.
