Two books,The Complete Works of Modern Han-ethnic Folk Costumes,andFrom Unary to Binary—the Trajectory for Modern Costume,respectively accomplished by Professor Cui Rongrong and Professor Zhang Jingqiong，both from Jiangnan University (JU), were awarded the third prize of The Sixth Awards for Outstanding Research Achievement of Institutions of Higher Learning (Humanities and Social Science). The top national awards are of great significance, attracting most of prominent Chinese universities to vie for the three-year-once competition.

At the good news, JU President Chen Jian expressed his congratulation for them in a letter. He said, “In recent years, with the great efforts made by JU faculty members, JU has been advancing remarkably with increasingly elevating university standard and social standing. On behalf of Jiangnan University, I pay tribute to you for your great contributions.
