According to an official document(RSBf NO.48), jointly issued by China’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and National Postdoctoral Management Committee, the Chemical Engineering and Technology Postdoctoral Research Center of Jiangnan University(JU) is on The List of Newly Approved Postdoctoral Research Centers. The accomplishment is a testimony of the a rapid progress in JU’s Discipline of Chemical Engineering and Technology, further expanding JU’s postdoctoral research realm consequently.

Since 1999 when the first postdoctoral research center was approved to establish, JU has set up five of them, respectively in the areas of Food Science and Engineering, Light Industry Technology and Engineering, Control Science and Engineering, Textile Science and Engineering, and the newly approved Chemical and Engineering.

With the relentless development of JU’s disciplines, especially in the areas of postdoctoral research, JU will be advancing in an all-around way on a solid foundation for sure. (C.Y. and Patrick)
