Journal of Food Science and Biotechnology,a JU-based journal, made a breakthrough and won the top prize in the evaluation and selection of “University-Based Sci-Tech Periodicals”, which was held for the third time. Altogether, Experts rated and reviewed over 1500 college-based sci-tech journals nationwide, of which 70 journals were rated as “high-quality”, 120 evaluated as “excellent” and 59 named “Distinctive”.
So far,Journal of Food Science and Biotechnologyhas been collected by some world-renowned date-bases from home and abroad such asFood Science Abstractof Britain,Chemical Abstractof the States and so forth.Currently,Journal of Food Science and Biotechnologyis one of the national Chinese core journals, Chinese Sci-Tech core journals and the core journals of CSCD as well. As the statistics of National Science Library,ChineseAcademyof Sciences showed that the influence ofJournal of Food Science and Biotechnologyhad been ranked the first among Chinese food science journals in three straight years.
