On November 10th,2010, the Third National Conference on College-based Hi-Tech Parks , co-hosted by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC, was held inShanghai. This conference was chaired by Mr. Du Zhanyuan, Vice Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC. Among those who delivered speeches were Mr. Yuan Guiren, Minister of Ministry of Education, Mr. Li Xueyong, Party Secretary General and Vice Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology as well as Mr. Han Zhen, Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government. At this conference, National Hi-Tech Park of Jiangnan University was officially recognized as one of the first batch of “College Students’ Scientific Pioneering Fieldwork Base”. This honor signifies the official approval and encouragement from Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Technology towards our efforts regarding college students’ scientific pioneering education. Meanwhile, this honor itself is a great achievement in terms of our science and technology park’s development.
Without doubt, we feel more than honored to get the award, “College Students’ Scientific Pioneering Fieldwork Base”. But in the meantime, this honor is also an incentive which would motivate us for sure. In the hope of contributing more to innovative talents education, National High-Tech Park of JU would take it as an opportunity to further supervise and support this base to make the most of its values on innovative talents education and entrepreneurial spirit cultivation.
