Conference Theme: The 5th International Symposium on Environmental Impact of Engineered Nanoparticles
Time: May 7-9, 2019
Place: Jiangnan University
Brief Introduction:
With the rapid development and application of nanotechnology due to the unique biophysiochemical properties of engineered nanoparticles (ENPs), they have been released into the environment. The international symposium series on “Environmental Impact of ENPs” aimed to provide the opportunities and platform of communication and collaborations for the investigations on the environmental behaviors, biological responses and environmental applications of ENPs. Building on the success of previous four international symposia on “Environmental Impact of ENPs” held in Qingdao and Wuxi since 2015, the 5th international symposium on “Environmental Impact of ENPs” will be held in Wuxi during May 7-9, 2019. This year it will be extended to the International Symposium on Environmental Processes and Pollution Control. The theme of this year’s symposium is: “Environmental Application and Impact of Engineered Nanoparticles, Nano-agricultural Technology and Environmental Geochemical Processes of Pollutants.” Outstanding scientists will be invited from both abroad and China. The objectives of this symposium are to: 1 Present new findings in the field of environmental application, fate & impact of ENPs; 2 Discuss the new theories, approaches, uses and methods of detection/analysis of ENPs; 3 Exchange research ideas.
