On December 19, during the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the "Chinese Traditional Art Paris Exchange Exhibition" and the "Oriental Fashion Paris Bloom Night Fashion Show" co-hosted by the China Intercontinental Communication Center and the French Association of Plastic Artists were held at the Louvre in Paris. Professor Niu Li's team from the School of Digital Technology and Innovation Design of Jiangnan University was invited to participate with 10 sets of magnificent costumes, bringing Jiangnan design to the spotlight in Paris.

With "Chinese culture" as the core theme and "Chinese style" as the source of inspiration, this fashion show aimed to integrate the essence of traditional Chinese culture with modern life concepts, creating a beautiful life paradigm characterized by "fashion, art, and quality". The 10 sets of works in the "Flying Mountains" series exhibited this time were designed and produced by Professor Niu Li's team from Jiangnan University. These works demonstrated the essence of traditional craftsmanship. The velvet with gold printing and carving was delicate and intricate, showing an ancient and elegant style. Moreover, they incorporated the beauty of Su embroidery, an intangible cultural heritage of China, skillfully integrating its exquisite techniques into the design of the cloud shoulder. The combination of tradition and modernity was full of charm.

In terms of form, the "Flying Mountains" series traced back to the origin of ancient clothing, extracting the essence of its form and style, and translating and innovating it with modern design language. It not only inherited the elegant charm of classical clothing but also endowed it with a modern and avant-garde atmosphere. Each piece was like a messenger traveling through time, cleverly combining the wisdom of the ancients with the creativity of the modern people.

In terms of craftsmanship, this series of works adopted top-notch velvet with gold printing and carving technology. Every process was meticulously crafted by craftsmen to strive for perfection. In the choice of accessories, the series made bold innovations by using 3D printing technology to combine modern technology with traditional craftsmanship, creating accessories with a sense of technology and without losing the classical charm. These accessories not only enhanced the overall visual effect but also demonstrated the unique taste and extraordinary status of the wearer.

Overall, the "Flying Mountains" series was unique in form, exquisite in craftsmanship, high-quality in fabric, and innovative in accessories, jointly creating an unparalleled luxurious style. This series of works was not only a symbol of taste and status but also a perfect combination of art and fashion, and could be regarded as a treasure of contemporary clothing art.

In this Paris Bloom Night Fashion Show, the School of Digital Technology and Innovation Design of Jiangnan University, together with the School of Fashion Design of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, combined Chinese intangible cultural heritage clothing techniques with modern design, presenting a refreshing look. This was not only a display of Chinese traditional clothing intangible cultural heritage but also a profound dialogue and collision with French haute couture art. These works not only demonstrated the unique charm of Eastern and Western cultures but also further deepened the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the field of cultural exchanges.
